My p1i has been working 100% for the last two weeks. But today it decided that it would no longer Sync with Outlook 2007.
Each time I sync I get an error "Error due to : Folder not found".

I can sync IE bookmarks and also Outlook express, but Not Outlook 2007.
And this was working fine up to yesterday.

I called SE and they say it's a microsoft issue and I should phone Microsoft.

Anybody got any ideas?

Unfortunately this does appear to be SE reply to most support issues these days.

I had a similar issue. Firstly I remapped the folders in the synch software, then forced a new synch in advanced while having outlook open.

I find that synch always works for me with outlook open but if not you won't always receive the security notice from outlook 2007 which results in the folder not found error.

As I say works for me and it may for you but I can't promise, sorry!

I have had this problem occur on a P900. It resulted from some outlook patch I think. The work around was to stop syncing with a sub-folder of outlook (e.g. phone contacts are a sub folder of contacts) and instead sync with a top level folder (any sub folder gets ignored so now contacts is a sub folder of Phone contacts).

Annoying as the configuration had worked for years and the mess this change created at first re-sync involved some deleting, and re-syncing of the phone and general messing around which as a smug P900 user I normally never have to do .

Hope that helps

I have resolved the issue. I do not know what caused it.

To resolve it I went into Syn Settings and select Properties, then I turned off the option use default folders and set the relevent folder manually.

This resolved the issue

Thanks
