Thanks mate, that was quick 
Nothing wrong with that black version at all.
You would have thought the black version would have been standard issue by now as its always a popular colour. People might see the purple as too frothy and the brown as too - well brown. 
Not sure about that silver version, it looks very Sony circa 1980's.

Looks like this one will be out pretty soon:
The K770 is a GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 and UMTS 2100 phone that will be available in Truffle Brown in selected markets from autumn 2007.
Before Christmas by the looks of it, bulking up its Christmas offerings.

No infrared on the K770i and on other SE phones. Does no-one use this anymore? I must have used it once this year so far.

it also says Q4 at the end of the press release:
Available in selected markets from Q4 2007.
