Please don't take it as an offense, but if I look at the house, the plants and the number plate of the car, I think my K770 can take a little sharper image than that. Coz I've capture lots of images similar like that (with lots of numbers plate etc etc) with my K770.

But I agree, it's interesting to see that your image is OBVIOUSLY sharper than my T650's, although not as sharp as my K770's images. AFAIK.

I think I'm gonna change my T650 driver to R7AA China.

You're right. The K770i may be a tad bit sharper, though overall I can't tell much of a difference. Its possible the software in the K770i applies a bit extra sharpening effect also - there is really no way to tell if its from a different lens or a software difference. Not sure why your T650i takes such poor pictures, though. You're sure the lens wasn't dirty or smudged?

I'm sure about the cleanliness of the lens cover glass. Though, I don't know if its inside is as clean. I hope it's clean as well.

No. That thing is called ambient light sensor anyway. Doesn't K770's light sensor do well? Coz I think K770's light sensor really does well - unlike T650's. [addsig]

I've tried searching and flashing with some firmwares, but it seems it doesn't work out.

Is it really annoying? Coz IMO, the light sensor only decrease the brightness 10%. I don't know how your K770 does, but my K770 does well.

Look below. Left is K770 when light sensor is active. Right is T650 when light sensor is active. You can tell that T650 sensor is decreases the brightness much more. But I do wonder if your K770 behave like that T650. Perhaps?

Anybody knows when and where the two new K770i colors, "Soft black" and "Henna Bronze" will be available?

It looks like there is another new color of K770i - gray. You can buy it branded by Era (Polish T-Mobile, so I think it should be avaiable in other countries by T-Mobile network). It's strange that this color isn't official - no info on website.

You can see the pics of gray K770i on auction at Allegro:

I was wondering if anybody could help explain something which is confusing me with my K770i. When typing out a long sms message the phone flashes sms2 at me, now I was assuming that this meant that I had typed too many characters for one message, and the message would therefore be sent as 2 text messages. However I noticed that when I tried to forward a message that had been sent to me, this sms2 flashed at me but i was able to send the message, and it showed in my outbox as only going as 1 message. Am i reading this completely wrong? and if so how many characters can i get into just one txt message?

Thanks in advance

@dinger164, that's normal behaviour. Basically your message is sent as a whole, but you have used up 2 smses. 1 sms contains 160 characters. If the recipient has an older phone, your text may be shown as 2 separate messages.

Ive noticed that link to the SE site for the SoftBlack k770i is the UK link, does anybody know if this phone will make its way to Australian Shores?
Or if purchased from UK will work on the Australian Network.

I love the phone but am not a fan of the current colours
