Anybody got any special recipes you want to share with us, or anything you have tried making and come up with something completely different lol. This is the place to come...
I'll kick it off with a few recipes I've used in the past...
Creamy Tuna Pasta
Ingredients - Pasta shells Tuna, as much as you like and Philadelphia Light, go for the herb one
Method - Cook the pasta as per instructions on packet (usually boil for 10 mins). Drain the water and put the pasta back in the warm pan, then stir in a tablespoon or two (three if in need of comfort food) of Philadelphia Light, and stir in flakes of tuna.
Cheesy Nacho Platter
Ingredients - some mozzarella cheese (melty cheese essential) salted or cheesy nachos, 1 pot of mild salsa dip (you can add chillies ect if you are that way inclines)
Method - Get a pyrex baking dish or similar and add one layer of nachos to cover the bottom of it. Pour on some salsa and top with grated mozzarella. Repeat this untill you like have a stack of nachos, salsa and cheese (you could potentially add chillies ect between the layers). Make sure the last layer you have is of mozzarella. Bake in a moderate oven for about 10 mins till cheese has melted. For a nice topping put under the grill for a bit to help the cheese melt. Serve with anything or with sour creme dip.

My favourite meal:
Beans on Toast
Time required:
Approximately 4 minutes
Ingredients:
1x Tin of Baked beans (Heinz are the best IMO)
2x Slices of bread (Warburtons Toastie Thick sliced is my preference)
Butter
Method:
Open tin of beans and place in glass or plastic container. Put in 800W microwave for 3 minutes on high.
At same time, put the two slices of bread in the toaster and toast to your desired brown-ness
Beans and toast should be ready at approximately the same time. Butter the toast and place on plate. Split beans equally between two slice of toast and serve.
MMMmmmmmmm..... tasty!

Ah the good old beans on toast, one of my all time favourites aswell although my method is slightly different to yours.
My ingreedients are the same although i use 2 slices of bread, i then heat the beans in a pan and add a knob of butter to melt into the beans while being heated, toast the bread and then arrange the toast round the edge of the plate and the beans in the centre. |

beans+toast what kind of favourite recipe is that
just a quickie from me, a little salad, not a main meal. Fennel (spelling?) , baby spinach leaves and cut up oranges. Add some olive oil and some black balsamic vinegar. Yummy!
can also make it with just the spinach leavea and fennel, or just orange and fennel!

Cola marinated chicken with BBQ sauce
1 x Container
X - Desired amount of chicken
X - Enough coke to cover the chicken when you put it in the container
Sounds weird but its gorgeous on a BBQ in this nice weather, put the chicken in the container and pour in enough coke so it covers all the chicken, marinate in the fridge over night. Simply cook on a barbeque and serve with either honey or BBQ sauce. The chicken absorbs the cola sugars and caramelises (sp?) which is amazing, try it.

mmm I love beans on toast and love cooking
heres one of my favorites
ginger buscuits
100g / 4 oz / half cup of butter or margarine
255g / 8oz / 2 cups of self-raising flour
5ml / 1tsp baking soda (bicarbonate of soda)
5ml / 1tsp of ground ginger – for Luke add 5 – 7
100g / 4oz / half cup of caster sugar
45ml / 3tbsp golden syrup – warmed (or 4 tbsp if mix is dry)
Rub the butter or margarine into the flour, bicarbonate of soda and ginger. Stir in the sugar, then blend in the syrup and mix to stiff dough. Role into walnut size balls, and place well apart on a baking sheet (non stick), then press to flatten a little bit. Bake these beasties in a preheated oven at 190 centigrade/ 375 Fahrenheit or gas mark 5 for 5-10 min. They taste best if slightly soft so after cooking stick em in a tin to keep some of the moisture in/
