looks like the same version for both so probably m600 and p1 will be compatible too?

It's said to work on M600 as well. The plugin is based on the plugin to P1 and just modified to work with other phones...

The official plugins are newer than the leaked P1i plugin, and have not been 'hacked' by end users to work with other phones, as the unofficial P990 and W950 plugins were.

Each plugin only works with the phone it is designed for, as each phone identifies itself differently to the Mac.

There is an official P1i iSync Plugin too on the Sony Ericsson site, but I could only find a direct download link to the file, not an information page:

http://www.sonyericsson.com/d[....]%20Plugin%20Version%201.07.zip

The M600's firmware has not had the same recent updates like the P990i and W950i, so currently there is no working plugin for it, either an official Sony ericsson one, or a 'hacked' one.

All these plugins only work with the very latest firmware, so clearly Sony Ericsson did something in the firmware to enable iSync compatibility, as iSync itself has not changed.

Well, my P990i does'nt sync with iSync with this plugin, i think this is caused by the firmware, my P990 (Dutch /66 CDA version) is still on FW R5A17, because there is no R6D23 for our region.

Can anyone confirm that ? (or should it work wit R5 ?)

I Tried the hacked plugin before, didn't work either.

There is no version of iSync for Windows.

As stated on the Sony Ericsson site, you have to be using the latest version of the firmware.

Maybe you can use a third-party firmware update tool to get past the version you're limited too in your region.

My 2 cents: Be sure to NOT activate energysaving under the bluetooth settings on the phone as it will probably cause the sync to fail (bug in phone's firmware?).

Worked quite alright for me once I had updated my phones firmware... and turned I also had the BT power saving off as recommended...

... However, some entries in my calendar on the P990i aren't being transferred to iCal... :-/ iDon't iKnow...

Anyone found an issue to this problem? Seems to be quite common as reported here:

If anyone has got a solution to that, please let me know
