you can edit the Exif information but the logic concerning the imaging algorithm tells us it's fake.

Why would SE do that while Sony has camera division. Not to mention the (Konica) Minolta dSLR division that has been bought by Sony? If SE are to use other lenses it might be Nikon who bought a lot of sensor from Sony. But maybe they will license Carl Seiz as Nokia since Sony camera division also use this license. |

olympus lenses are very powerful for DSLR use. though konika minolta and sony cybershot combinations are powerful enough already. not to mention they have a camera with in camera stabilization to beat nikon D80's in-lens stabilization

Yeah I use KM dSLR with AntiShake (sensor stabilization) now called Super Steady Shot in Sony's dSLR and it gives at least 2.5 stop advantage. Sony didn't buy KM compact camera division but they did buy license for Anti Shake (SSS). Minolta SLR lens also very good and sharp. |

And you do know who made several Leica R-series (R-3, R-4, R-5), it is Minolta. Minolta was Leica OEM. That same Minolta factory and technology has been bought by Sony and become Sony dSLR. I would say Minolta lenses is one of the best. Their problem is they lost AF patent with Honeywell and loose millions dollar in a law suit in the 80's that sucks up their R&D/MArketing budget and finally taken over by Konica. Minolta SLR was the first that employed AF (that was claim by Honeywell). Others Canon/Nikon then simply license it from Honeywell and don't suffer huge court settlement unlike Minolta.
After buying (konica)Minolta SLR patent assets, Sony has become one of the big boy of camera. And also Sony is no2 in compact camera market share (just behind canon) even before getting KM asset. I would say SE will want to use its parent company's technology for its camera phone.
Edit: Sorry last statement I mean one of the parent company (otherwise some ppl will complain about Ericsson).
Yes K850 successor it is Carl Zeiss. I don't think it is a big deal about Zeiss, Leica, etc on small digicam/camera phone. Most of the time it is not actually designed by them but just a lens coating spec. It is just a marketing scheme.
