This is brought to you by the same guys who made the M300, Designed by SMS Technology Australia the M500 claims to be the world's smallest mobile phone, as it is incorporated into a wristwatch.

With a 1.5-inch colour touchscreen, full SMS functionality, full Bluetooth compatibility, USB connectivity and charging, 199 number memory storage, MP3 and MP4 player, 128MB memory, 80 hours standby time and 200 minutes of talk time this earns its space on your wrist with ease.

The water-resistant M500 works on GSM Quadband frequencies with means anyone who has a GSM SIM card to use the M500 in any country around the world.

It looks like rather than talk into the watch you actually carry out your conversations on a headset courtesy of the M500's Bluetooth compatibility.

Pricing and availability is to be confirmed (rumoured cost is around 500 quid), you can sign up on there site for updates. WATCH VIDEO

One word - radiation!

I'm not one of these scare-mongerers, I'm quite sure that normal use and exposure to a normal mobile phone is perfectly safe, but you wouldn't strap one permanently to your head, and I wouldn't strap one to my wrist either! It's just a scientific study waiting to happen...

I don't think radiation through your wrist will be as bad as any other radiation, such as through your pocket.
