I work in the Industry and have spoken to Nokia themselves, and as an owner of the 7650, have asked them all the questions you are asking of it. The answers are:

1. There will be NO memory upgrade for the 7650, it cannot be upgraded and none is planned.

2. There will be NO "7650i". Nokia is releasing the 3650 after christmas which has the same features and software, but slightly upgraded memory and a MMC slot, so there is no point in them updating the 7650 and they have no plans to.

3. The bluetooth chip on the 7650 CANNOT be updated to a version which supports audio. To do so would require them completely re-writing the software on the phone and they aren't prepared to do that.

So in conclusion my friends, put up with it or get a P800 after christmas but lets not have any more speculation about updates for the 7650. Its a nice little phone, but there's a few flaws with it, and they're flaws that Nokia isnt going to fix, at least not on this particular model. Nokia Die-Hards should check out the 3650 in January.

jst a thought....ignore if you feel like it.

try having pocketpc for gaming ,music, internet and lots n lots of applications(thousands) instead? your t68 in your shirt pocket is for voice calls, maybe games if your bored and sms/mms.
you can actually have both for the price of a 7250.

t68m (r5d) ($50 after rebates)
toshiba e740 ($399 lowest price)
