AFAIK  have production factories in China and Malaysia. DOn't know much about Mexico.

take a photo of it dude. Show us where it says made in mexico and show us the phone's screen turned on.  Don't show us your IMEI code though!

I have a V630i but i think it was a bit crap so i went over to S500i its very cheap round here in the UK.
