I thought the P1i is supposed to replace the m600i, thats why they discontinued the m600i. |

Is it just me or is the phone too far away? Maybe stupid but; if P990i if "flawed" why not try to sell it cheaper then not sell it at all? Ok new FW is comming but people are not stupid they`ve kind of lost interest in P990.
Yes P1 has wifi b; first post doesnt mention G... hm?
Q3 should be July, August, September? why so late? I do not like this at all

that's what i mean, but others have opined that it replaces the p990. BTW is the m600 discontinued? haven't heard anything regarding that. |

We,ve seent he proto in the wild for a while, the phone is ready.
I'm sure SE is still working on the firmware but why so long to release it.
I was dreaming about buying it in a month time.
I would even be ready to buy it now knowing that the firmware is not finalised.

remember the p990 'experiment'? i'm sure SE has learnt their mistake, and not succumb to market pressure and release the phone before they're convinced that it's entirely stable and ready for the public? or maybe they're going to add some extra applications to the existing package, maybe working on something with a third party provider? |

Certainly an interesting choice for name- say P1 and I think of PENTIUM 1 processors?? lol
Will have to get used to referring to it as a P1i now.

Also I think P1 os WILL BE stable, they have learn enough from m600/w950/p990, even now uiq 3.0 is begining to mature. Im sure in 3-4 months when P1 launced, its os will as stable as nokia s60 os |
