Unfortuantly I find the police are useless with this kind of thing. I lost a laptop thanks to a known scammer on ebay a few years back. I went to the police and they pretty much just laughed a me.

Hence the problem with online shopping, the police don't really have an awful lot of control in cyberspace, their job is to police the real world not the virtual one. However, any dodgy dealings and scams that are bought on ebay should always be passed through ebay, rarely anyone else.

eBay are pretty good when it comes to Scams,
a guy from Aussieland emailed me yesterday about buying my phone later that day eBay had emailed me saying he was a fraudster

I looked at his feedback he had 100ish
An "Apple" a day keeps the Doctor at Bay!
