Done updating using Parallels Desktop and no problems encountered.

I have noticed one thing after the update, Open Online service, flickr and vox is no longer working, when trying to attach an image it just closes.

anyone experience this?

I must say you have guts to do it via parrallels, I wouldnt even chance it after bricking two of my N95 via that. I will boot into bootcamp later when the battery is fully charged and give it a go.

I have done it with all my previous phones, SE and Nokia (all posted here at esato), encountered no problems at all, lucky me i guess.

Ok took the plunge and its going sweet so far, a little note in the downloads section there was a new update called UK SERVICES or something and in there was mobi magazines which is really cool.

There is the BBC Magazine and when there is a news flash it flashes on the main screen of your phone with bbc alert really cool try it out.

Wow that update was super quick man it finished in under 5 mins.

Any news on the GPS?

Does it acquire faster? I don't know what Nokia was thinking when they put that crappy GPS chip in a premium phone.
*edited on a Mac of course. Mac: There is no substitute*

N82(YES), iPhone 3G, Shure es530, Nikon D300, more stuff. No more SE stuff, why am I still here?
