Hi all,
Well all i can say is after all this talk of the E61 i have now bought one which should be with me by Tuesday and you know what for a change i am actually quite excited especially about that large battery.
@Voda-Jon as this will be my first 16 million colour screen would you say this screen is better than the N93's because when i compared it with a N95 i really wasn't impressed and found my screen to be much better. Will i need to find special themes or can i use the same ones as i do on the N93?
The best bit is i can just swap the 2gb Mini SD from my N93 and have Tom Tom and all my Music and Video's there or will i also need to re encode my video's for best results?
Marc

maybe not - but the human mind will "see" there's is currently just about, eh, NO other screen like it in such a feature packed affordable (!) package (sorry for putting 2 "pack"'s in such a flawless statement - no pun/harm intended, 2pac-fans...)

@dogmann...
Yeh the screen looks a lot better (to me anyway) than the N93 i had and especially outside where it looks ace even in direct sunlight!!!
Themes wise u will need to download E61 specific ones as the screen size is a weird one!!!
And apps wise the ones on ur mem card will work fine but u may need to re-install them as all the apps install v.small bits of code onto the phones memory lol...
U r gonna love this phone for sure!!! i guaranty it!!! |

Hi all,
Thanks for all the replies i am actually selling all my devices now and really do not have a problem re installing everything as it's about time i reformatted my memory card. I may even stick with the built in themes for a change. Only thing i really need to decide on is if i should keep the SU-8W or not but that's not really a biggie any way. I can hear an E90 calling me in the distance LOL.

i sold my su-8w as its a bit weird using one with the e61 so i got rid of it.... typin only takes a little bit to get used to so i would say sell it with the N93 (thats if u r selling that one!!!)
You wont wanna go back to any other nokia after using the e61 for a month!!!
Then u will wanna get the e61i with its slightly better keypad (more space between keys!) and its slightly smaller size!!!
The in built themes r ace but visit www.a site.com as they have a guy on there making e61 themes and they r amazin!!! |

Having tried probably close to a hundred themes on n95 and e61
I keep coming back to "Black Nokia" by PTWS (here:http://www.e-series.org/nokia-e61-themes/ ) - it's not white, but is perfect for text entry, very clear and crisp, no-nonsense and free....
