true, but it doesn't play a lot - which in a way is good, because playing every video format would require ever video codec, and they add up to quite a bit of data... That's why smartmovie comes with a pc converter [addsig]

I'd say the file is corrupted, or eh...
Did you try sending the clip back to your pc to see if pc plays it? (you can get a free divx player it plays all smart movies on pc... That divx player belongs on every pc...it's very good imho. but you prob'ly have it?). Usuall a warning pops up at the end of the conversion if smart-movie converter "thinks" the player on the phone cannot handle it... [addsig]

yeah...I made the mistake of wasting some hard-earned handango points on the new divx player... it s u c k s!!! Fancy add-ons like playlist manager etc, but it plays only about 50 pc of the clips it should play... And zero support so far! As far as I know all the older versions have expired (has been mentioned on other forums...). it won't play anything that smartmovie doesn't play anyways!!!
When I mentioned divx-player earlier I meant the pc-version...just to check if your clip is otherwise ok!? [addsig]

Hi all,

All this seems way to much like hard work to me all i want to do is select a source file convert and let it play in my device with good to excellent quality all this installing additional codes and players would be a total nightmare as far as i am concerned. Just choose one good converter that plays in the built in Real Player and that's it job done. The players i have mentioned were both quite cheap under $20 for Movavi and the Nokia Media Studio had a big discount from the Nokia Software store so was i think only 10-12 Euros and wasting my time IMO is worth more than that not to have the hassle but of course this is merely MO.

has anyone here tried this: http://www.handango.com/Platf[....]d=4&N=4294920359%2034&R=206695
looks like something I might be interested in - downloaded the trial, but haven't installed it yet... If it's rubbish, I'd waste my time

no, I think this is supposed to work for all applications, in "real-time" - so you can e.g browse the internet on phone (basically like the tv-out in some samsung phones (though i've read different stories about this app...hmm:-?) [addsig]

Hi Boba,

I think Jon is hinting that he has the best Nokia Symbian waiting for you as it has 16m screen which we all now is important to you plus everything else you could want. A much better device then your current choice IMHO, just go for it i doubt you would regret it and at that price it has to be considered a bargain even with my 10% commission.
