listen. flashing a phone has become easier than ever with xs v3.0 beta. you just have to select two files(FS and MAIN) and wait till those files are uploaded to your phone. after that you just upload the custom(it takes less than a minute if i remember well). then your phone'll be fine as before or even better  . it's not a risk but an adventure.

wow.... and why arn't you selling used cars?! I thought I was a smoothe talker! lol... I think I'm conviced... maybe tonight when I get home from the office I'll give her a shot
Where is the link to that xs v3.0 beta? I am on like 3 boards and am getting confused (will disband those other ones as u guys are GREAT!)

can i have flashed my k550i firmware to w610i firmware. but i didnot flahed the FS.will the sound quality vary for this??? what more will change if i change the FS???

another question... what do I need?
in the K750_RED49_rest.rar which file do I choose? I'm assuming a EU version (English European?)
R1A, R1B, R1C, R1D?
also... he says " If this is the first time you flash your phone you will need to install the Flash drivers I posted further up."
How do I install the flash drivers? just drag the file into the cards file? if so which?
**also, does it matter if I'm running Linux and not Windows-pos OS?** |

I downloaded all the files and cannot get anything that looks like the XS++ program to open... is this the result of a Linnux OS? I was hoping to flash her tonight, but looks like that is down the drain... What am I doin wrong here boys? |

@FlawedLegacy: i think you dont need the rest file. you just need the MAIN, FS and custom(and of course the xs++).
if you want to install the usb driver:
-turn off your phone
-press and hold C key on the phone
-plug in the usb cable to the phone(DCU-60)
-a new hardware will be found. then install the drivers you've download.
@joneyme: it's better to use the MAIN and FS from w610. it's not good to have just a part from the firmware.

Free firmwares and custpack:
1. Download Wotanclient
2. Press start and connect your phone.
3. Choose which firmware and custpack you want and then press continue
4. It will download now and when finished it will say that your account doesn't have any credit.
5. Open the folder flash and you will find it there
I've tried this, and my W880i connects successfully (gives data like IMEI etc) - but - to proceed I have to select the 'CDA' and the choices here are limited to India, South Asia, Middle East/North Africa and Arab Emirates...
Why is there no Europe etc? Any Idea?
I would like to kill the camera sound and operator logo f.i.
The software is already updated via SE download manager.
PS: no nagging about any credits here BTW. But the only folder Wotanclient made is a 'Version' folder with the files 'version.txt' and 'version.zip' (which includes another 'version.txt')
