how can it cost £100000 to get to the titanic?
it's in the sea at the bottom, surely theres not a ticket machine on it?

You need a professional diving company to get you down to those depths, i.e in Diving Bell or mini sub, i believe a russian company is doing trips down to the wreck for a £100,000 per person and thats quite cheap apparantly.

Well I think they're quite nice; of course not everyone can afford one, but I think they look good and to have a piece of history on your wrist, no matter how small that piece might be I think is great. Obviously if it got to the point where people were farming from the Titanic on mass scale...

I think the watches look really nice but not worth the money.

I think it's tragic... it's stealing and making a profit out of a tragedy... sadly what most things in this world now thrive on.

I agree, the U.S government even actually commissioned a series of commemorative coins from the gold and silver recovered the from the WTC Tower vaults.

I would so love to go down to titanic, and explore it even in that small cramped sub the divers used, I love titanic.
but there are rumors that a second titanic is being built exactly the same as the first but with more life boats and bigger engines, how cool is that |
