Yes that is correct as I have a 1969 TR6 which is NO tax, and my 1974 has to be paid!!!

A TR6? They are lovely cars. I know somone with a Stag (not with a Rover V8 but original Triumph V8) and have helped fix friends 1500's and 2000's.

Not a big Ford fan myself. My first car was a MK1 Y reg Vauxhall Astra (I still miss it).

Yes TR6 is a good car for the summer with the top down. I nearly had a Stag, but the TR just took my fancy at the time.

Classic is the word I would have put on the Fiesta also, but this word Retro puzzles me for age!

@mamber - is that your Sierra XR4i then? Swap it for a W850i?

I rather like that gold Mk1 Cortina GXL featured in Life On Mars (did anyone see that last episode tonight btw?). Also those old Mk1 and even Mk2 Ford Granadas (My dad had an old T reg Mk2 white Granada Ghia - lovely car!), wouldn't mind one of them!

@Sammy
Yes that is one of the fleet! Make it a Nokia 3310 and you have a deal!!!

Having a look around the good old net, a retro car can be anything by the looks of things? The PT Cruiser is a retro car for example!

Classic car is a term frequently used to describe an older car, but what exactly is meant by that varies from person to person and organisation to organisation

Now that REALLY clears things up!

Looks like you have a car you can call it what you like!

Hmmm, haven't got a 3310, would a 3330 do?

I guess you could also apply 'retro' to phones - like the 3310 or the T610!
