it's only 100 megs of web hosting but for files you can just use others like myopera.

Thanks but i still havent found a ftp service yet. I think it's easier to use ftp instead of a web site.

If its easier to everyone else i could upload it on a web site and put the link there. Personally i like the ftp idea better

Sounds like a good idea. I can offer my web space which has 1.5GB of storage and unlimited bandwidth.
As I am an ASP.NET developer I could easily create a site that allows you to fill in a form with details about the file and a control to upload it. Doing it that wsy would mean the site could have a search page and more.
FTP is also an option but I guess most people would prefer a nice frontend.
The site could also have a membership system so only registered users can post files.
Let me know if this sounds ok? |

if anyone has any free hard drive space, they could reg for free redirecting servive(www.no-ip.com), then run a free webserver, and host the files themselves, there fore saving time and effort looking for a free host!!
