Changes:

  • Faster
  • WMA supoprt!
  • Transitions option found in control panel, device. Default is OFF
  • Updated build of opera which seems more stable
  • Louder through speaker
  • 20.8mb free ram

Here is what we have
(to check firmware version, in main menu click more then system information")

possible fix for your update freezing half way through

I have read that some people have a problem that the upgrade get stuck around 50%. I had the same problem, and solved it by changing settings in flash player.
Right click somwhere in the SEUS program and choose "settings". Go to the second icon and drag local storage to maximum. I also changed to allow in the first menu but since this has to do with camera and microphone I think it was the first thing that made it work. Tried this with good result at two comuters so far.

hmm. mine got stuck at 51% first time. I left it for 25 minutes which should be plenty of time but second time around its again stopped counting at 51% though it still hasn't says it finished

you might want to hold off this for a while

Still nothing yet? Will try it too when I go at home since i don't have the USB cable at the office. Although don't face any serious problems with current firmware, other than when video stucks (big 170mb mp4 file) when trying to FF or RW it while it plays.I hope this is fixed

3rd time. deleted the DB files so it redownloaded the updated from the net again, rebooted PC but stuck at 51% again

this is a genuine world generic 2 phone not KK'd or fiddled with in any way.

good job Orange gave me my unlock code last night for my N95 so I guess I'll be switching to that for today.

I'll buzz SE a bit later

that doesn't affect my update issue.

SEUS downloads first to the PC then applies it to the phones. Its got past the download from web stage and sticks at 51% while updating the phone

While typing this my m600 flashed the new firmware.
I have a Generic World1 since I changed it with kulankendi.
I didn't experience the 51% flash problem.

The setup wizard now talks about the option to "disable the transitions" for better performance. Default is transitions = off
While phone is booting a status bar is displayed.

20.8 MB free memory after reboot

SE have finally heard our calls.

Is there also an option to switch off/on transitions apart from doing it in the setup wizard?
