When the W610 is finally available here in the US, I may get one to replace my trusty W810. About the only thing I'll lose are the auto-focus camera and full-size MSDP memory, correct?
As much as I hate to downgrade in model #, at least I'm upgrading just about everything else - 2.0, A2DP (does it also have AVRCP?), the list goes on
Hopefully, by the time the W610 is in stock locally, M2 Micro cards will be cheaper

I would say 2.0 and A2DP are significant upgrades.

Yes sure But Only on paper .. actully to b honest the A2DP not the real thingy yet coz of Expensive Headsets , less power and so on .. the 2.0 walkman version is more like a new interface more than a real music enhancment .. PEACE !:D |

the w610 just got released in Malaysia last week.
Its really affordable. Difference in price is just about 10% with the w810i
Ok u guys, so it has a2dp. I just want to know, dying to find out if it also support avrcp!!??
If it has AVRCP, then i'm definitely gonna upgrade and get the iTECH blueband R (a2dp, avrcp) at the same time..
My currently existing bluband headset just broke yesterday!!.. Its a defect in design that most of the headsets will not survive more than a month or 2 of frequent use. Hope the blueband r is better.

Dont think that W610 supporst AVRCP. The official white paper for the w610 isnt out yet. Although I read a review on Mobile-Review and it listed all the supported BT profiles --which didnt include AVRCP.

Personally, I'm waiting for the W660 to upgrade my W810. I think the W610 is kind of ugly even compared with the W810. I think the W660 looks really cool. Plus the W660 has 3G. |

Deal-breaker for me. I'm soon upgrading my car stereo with one whose add-on has AD2P and AVRCP. Kinda pointless to have one without the other

I guess it could be a deal-breaker to some. Although, to those who doesnt need it yet, its a pretty worthy upgrade. Personally, I can live without it.

Fortunately the W610 does have a 2Megapixel Auto-focus camera.
But unfortunately its doesnt take pics as good as the w800/w810 camera. Maybe its the Firmware.
I will post the comparison pics later.
But the Phone as such is great!

Yeah well the W610 is the true W810 successor. Don't forgot about the new UI with even better multi tasking capabilities.
