I actually bought both the 8850 and the 8890 (Tri-Band) when they first hit the market.
I was blind, i actually fell in love with these Nokia models!

nokia is feeling that is SE pushing hard. SE's secret goal is to have most marketshare by 2012.
i know nokia will do anything to prevent that, so its up to the loyal esatonians nsure SE's future.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

I still have mine. nice blue screen and better keys than the 8210 had. paid $aud825 cash when it came out I remember, and I vaguelly recall you could only get it in UK from phones4u or someone similar as Nokia didn't really release it here officially

i couldn't find one over here at all mass..
it was for the Asia market only..
so it would have been a gray import! (so yeah p4u most likely)
i've got 2 of them... the butterfly keypad is wicked.
i didnt pay quite near £350 for mine though... got a BNIB one in Dubai about 8 years ago now for a shade over £80 was well happy..
need a new cover for it but they are like gold dust to find

@axxxr! Yes! The 8850 is indeed a model that Nokia should consider remaking. But I want it in its exact design, it's got a really nice form-factor. I bought a second-hand one a couple of years back. It still works (I think), but the seller claimed that it hadn't been dropped before and I was upset when I opened the casing to find that one of the screws couldn't be tightened because the groove was cracked. I honestly wouldn't mind changing the entire case if Nokia still has them, but if they could re-release an improved model based on the 8850, all the more better for me!
edit: @axxxr, I'm a little confused now, Nokia forum and GSMArena states that the model is the 3110 Classic, while Softpedia says it's the 3310 Classic, so which is it?

Everyone here wishing nokia rereleases their favourite phones. Now seriousely, you'll be sick before its over. 6110 was one of nokia's early phones and its being reused as 6110 navigator and now rumored classic. Now how long do you think it will take nokia to rerelease all these oldies? I'd say 2 years. You'll get 8210, 7110, 6210, 3210, 5110 and even my personal favourite the 5510. And then when they're done they'll start all over again 3310 Classic II Classic IIi, Classic III, Classic V
