dpends on what your editing to vid for?

is it to play on a pc or to go onto a phone?

Good point, fatreg, thanks! Not for phone!
To edit simple music-video thingys - output ideally wmv and/or avi! Actually, I don't mind windows movie maker, it's just a bit to crash prone. Doesn't need fancy 3d effects, etc, but would be nice if you could insert still images... I currently use avs editor... Is a bit too complicated for quick results - though at least it doesn't crash constantly!
Any tips? Read somewhere winproducer (version 3 and upwards) was o.k., but a quick google says it's discontinued - though to be honest, I haven't checked enough... Am trying to exploit you guys on this one!!! T H A N K S [addsig]

try avid free edition....little complicated but the pro edition is the industry standard so your garunteed good results
