Will these settings work as settings for java as well? I`ve been trying to get Jimm (ICQ Client) working for ages, and not even Three customer services were any help....

imo, you should select that profile for java also, and it should work.

Well, unfortunatelly these dont work. Integrated internet browser and Opera mini are working fine, but Jimm (ICQ) and QuickIM (MSN) won`t connect at all.
A have been trying it for almost 6 months now, never had problem like this on any other network.
The only possible explanation to this would be Three blocking some ports these IM programs needs to access the internet....or something like that....
Does anybody know any solution to this? Or did anybody manage to get Jimm working on Three UK ????

You should be able to download the settings from 3 over the network. Not sure about the other apps but you can use the normal windows live messenger which is free on 3. If you phone is debranded see my post here about getting it on your phone:

i cannot get these settings to work on my w880i, sone of the menus are different,someone please help
