I have a number of QuickTime MOV files (e.g. movie trailers) that I want to put on my W810.
The native video formats supported are 3GPP and MPEG-4, correct? (Is either one "preferred" over the other for phones?)
How best to convert .mov to .3gp/.mp4? I have a Mac, but also access to a PC. I have QuickTime Pro (i.e. the paid version) on the Mac. Will QT Pro do the trick?

I tried a few exports from QT Pro. The file plays sound only - no image. On some settings, the phone recognizes the 3GP file as a sound file
What are the correct, best audio and video settings for playback when exporting a MOV file to 3GP?

I'll go with Xen0nflash on this one, I've used super to convert whole movies to my K800i and there's a load of different formats you can use with it. I.e. you can convert a movie/clip to almost any phone, a PSP etc... the list goes on.

Before I try any of the freeware/shareware options posted above, does anybody know the Export settings I should use in QuickTime Pro to create compatible 3GP or MP4 movies? I'm still having no luck. QT had a "3GP (Phone)" export option, that yet again produced audio with a blank screen. I'm going nuts!

If you only are getting audio, you must check the videos settings, 176x144 are the maxime messure for videos to be played on W800 or W810.

QT Pro settings that work... Start with 3GPP (Mobile MP4) file format defaults, then change:
- MPEG-4 video
- 176x144 QCIF image
- Preserve Aspect Ratio using: Letterbox
- Frame Rate: 15
- Audio Format: AAC
- Channels: Stereo
- Output Sample Rate: 16.000 kHz
