i'm have an extremly anoying problem with my infared. when i try to send files from my comp to my t68i, it takes me forever. i turn on the infared through the phone, align it with the infared on the computer, and i have to hold the phone just right, if it moves a milimeter, i'm dead, i loose contact. it takes me forever to align the phone with the infared receptor. it's so damn sensitive if i move it a milimeter over i loose all contact. is anyone else having this problem? could it be the IR on my computer that's flakey? what's the range on the IR? how exact do they have to be aligned for a good transfer? thanks for any responses.

if you are certain that your computer's ir is ok, then have your phone repaired/replaced. i've encountered one problem in the past, and the replacement phone worked ok.

i've encontered thsi problem with my old lunar gray t68m front cover. when i replaced my front cover with the T68i mineral gray, i don't have problems connecting to my laptop via IR anymore.

I think the IR window is darker in the lunar gray cover.

GOD DAMNIT i already took the phone back once because it was freezing up at random, and the people at AT&T are the most retarded bunch of monkeys this earth has to offer. i dont think i can stand going back there again to get another phone, those sons of bitches. but its worth a try i guess to get the IR to work.
