Hello,
i'd thought i'd make a new thread to contain issues with the new skin..
i'll start.
i run a mac and use safari to browse the web..
on the new skin i can't get to my PM's, the top 20, or edit my profile..
i'll upload an image to show you what i mean.
see the top left of the image!

I am agree with Reggie. Also on a Mac and have Safari as my browser, whilst i have choices of Firefox and Opera, its not the point.
All users should have the same access...

i realy do like the design; but i think they released it too soon
- pixel issue's with some table heights
- top navigation menu doesn't show up untill you move your mouse over the <td>
- you don't like to view the page using a safari browser
i havn't tried opera, but i don't expect much good ...

The display problem in Safari is not a browser issue. It's a bad web design issue.
Safari is known for being one of the, if not the, most web standards compliant browser you can get. It was the first browser ever to pass the Web Standards Acid2 test.
If a web-site displays incorrectly in it, then it simply hasn't been programmed to web standards.
In fact, the new Esato doesn't even display correctly in Firefox on either Mac or Windows. The last two buttons at the top (Help & Search) are offset from the others.
This new design really should not have been rolled out before testing fully on multiple browsers and operating systems.
As a professional web designer, I would expect to be fired for less!!

Even on standard IE6 the Home page does not show the navigation buttons at the top. I have to fiddle the page to enter the forum!
I think some people will not be able to navigate from the Home page, so worth having a look at that? |

It's not a fault. It's a feature
