ok guyz i'm new to se and this is my first se (w810).whenn i transfer files with pc at phone mode or file transfer mode via usb cable data transfer rate is very low and is about 40kbps.i.m using 2gb sony magic gate memory card and card manual says it has ability to transfer data at 8mbps.so how can i increase the speed of data transfer.?please give me step by step details of method of doing it as i'm new to se.Thank you

hi and welcome. the best you can do is transfer your files with a card reader. it's much faster than the cable

yep,have a friend who is new in SE with his W810,and got same problem...tranced is right,card reader is much more faster,glad to have not this problem with my k800:">...USB Mass Storage device it says in the reveiws,but w810 also should have this feature i think

40 KB/sec seems to be the normal transfer speed for SE phones, it's the same for my K750i.
Also it doesn't matter what the memory card speed is, as most cards have far superior speed( to support high end cameras etc.), so the bottleneck is the phone.

From what you are saying files transfer quickly on your k800i....any idea how fast? as in how long does it take to transfer mp3 files? i m thinking of getting one or may be a k810 if out in time! lol!
