ok guys, well im after a new tv. anything from 32 up to 40" money isnt to much of a problem. long as its nothing stupid. it needs to have good conectivity eg 2 HDMI and 2 scart's.
im thinking one of the 37" panasonic verias, but i want to see what everyone else thinks first

Samsung! i found compared to other manufacturers the picture quality is soo much better. its easily on par with sony and i find the sony's a bit bulky and ugly.

One of my tv's is a Toshiba 42" LCD, and it's absolutely brilliant. Very good picture quality and definition + brightness/clarity. Specifically I'm talking about the WLT66 and WLT68 series. They come in 26" 32" 37" and 42" versions, and depending on whether you choose the 66 or 68 (new) series they have 2 or 3 HDMI connectors respectively. Have a look here http://www.home-entertainment[....]f/pages/lcdplasma?opendocument
I really can tell you that these Tosh tellys are good. I have previously bought a Sony LCD (on impulse) and been extremely disappointed with the quality of the picture. As it happened, the guy who put the Sony on my wall told me about the quality of the abovementioned Toshiba (at a reasonable price), and he was right.

Those Samsung's have a very nice picture but the sound is just a little tinny, imo.
