Nope. the SEUS requires a hard connection. as the phone must be turned OFF when plugged in the craddle.

SEUS is still working great on my Vista Business edition.

Although, recently, I could not get SEUS to work with the latest ATI drivers which was recently released by ATI (not 100%, but pretty sure ATI drivers were to blame!).

Therefore, I did a clean install again, and SEUS worked again (latest flash driver obviously needs to be installed and compatibilty mode needs to be checked!). Updates for my ATI graphics were available via microsoft update service anyway, so I never bothered with the manufacturer drivers.

Hope this helps.

Check/select "Run as Administrator" and "Windows 2000 compatibility mode" from properties.
Working perfect on Vista Ultimate

If you still receive the flash incompatibility message, you'd have to install flash through Internet Explorer.

Although I got past that, I'm stuck at where you have to cold boot the phone. I have a k800i and it won't detect it when holding C and plugging it in.

I've scanned back through this thread but don't see you mention what error you are getting

SEUS has always worked fine for me in Windows 2000 mode (and sometimes XP mode) so lets start with your error message

ok, I had this once (after SEUS had updated itself)

I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled and then turned compatibility on for all users for windows 2000 and admin again

give that a whirl!

i also get "could not lacte java virtual machine" error, even though i have jvm installed - i believe it is jvm 6.0 designed for vista
and the option to run as admin is disabled (perhaps because i am an admin and uac is turned off?)
any advice?
