Hi guys,
This is as detail as i can be.

1) make sure battery is fully charged
2) open kkclient
3) fill in login & password details (click check account to check you credit balance)
4) format internal drive
5) master reset
6) take out simcard
7) replace battery
check change cda box in kkclient with the CDA162007/1 typed in it
9) click flash phone
10) press c button
11) connect usb
12) when kkclient reads "phone connected", release c button
13) kkclient will read phones' info
14) cda change done!
15) for some reason, kkclient will dissappear/shut down right after (in some cases it doesn't) but this does not effect anything
16) unplug usb
17) replace simcard
18) restart phone (at this time you will see 2 cda lines)
19) master reset phone again
20) flash with seus (seus detects phone as world 1 generic)
21) done! (as for now, you will only have 1 cda line as it should be)
But i did another master reset and ran seus again just to be sure.

so there you go...hope this helps. good luck!

Edit:
Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible if it does not work for some of you. At least it did for me and for some. Just trying to lend a hand here.

This is good news for those of you who feel you can do this yourself, I do have to laugh at these staements though:

- MCC-MNC reading information . World s first !!!
- Lock level reading information . World s first !!!
- Total Call Time reading information added. World s first !!!
- Phone Code lock status reading information . World s first !!!
- RS232 communication support (for EROM update). World s first !!!

World First!! - I think NOT!

@spectre77, thanks for letting us know. How did it go for you? No problems?

Anyone else used KulanKendi?

@se-unlock,
i'm sorry if this upsets you in any way. i just want to share this good news with all the ppl in here. as i have learned many things from this forum.

@sainty,
my pleasure. after changed my cda to world generic 1, i updated through seus. seus detected my phone as world generic 1. and updated to the latest organizer version (R4B03). but my phone version remains the same (R7) though. so far no problems with the new firmware. seems to get more ram on startup.

No this does not annoy us in any way. It's good to see that the online solutions are finally offering the possibility to do this.

More than happy to have people offering an online alternative, as the people who use our service will still continue to do so.

I just found it humerous that they thought they needed to lie on their site.

Its a bit annoying that from the KulanKendi site you can only buy credits by credit card. I perfer paypal or at least a debit card. Anyone bought any KulanKendi credits from other sites? Also how long does it take to activate an account? I'm used to Davinciteam etc that are instant and offer paypal

@spectre77, just after you did the CDA change, did you have two CDA lines? Old one and then your new world generic one? What happens after you do the upgrade via SEUS? Do you still have two CDA lines or just the one world generic one? Cheers in advance

@Sainty
Yes i did have 2 cda lines. At first the first line shows my old cda (cds/5) and the second line shows the new one (cda/1). Fortunately seus detects the new cda. And after updating with SEUS it still has two cda lines. But this time both lines shows cda/1. Here's my screen capture after SEUS update.

spectre77, I have installed KKClient and it recognized my Voda P990i so I am planning to unbrand it. Please answer a few questions. To change CDA you just have to tick CDA change and that's it? It goes generic? It seems you had some problems flashing your phone, what was wrong? And how long after payment do they send the password? Thank you very much!

If you have 2 CDA strngs then the FW flash and CDA change is not being completed properly and this can lead to future problems. It should be completed by the client to change the string you have, and not have a second set of FW.

There should be an option in the client to solve this issue?

Strange - I did have 2 cda lines after changing them. But since a master reset and the upgrade I have only one cda. Sounds like something went wrong with you cda change or upgrade.

When using the client, do you have to tick "finalisation" or is it just the CDA Change box that needs ticked?

Cheers

Just the checked CDA change box worked for me - no need for finalisation.

Thanks,

Just waiting for my username and password. I take it that the server login just gets emailed .... how long does it take?

This is fantastic for getting rid of the branded FW!
