Hi
Can anyone let me have the set up details (POP3 and SMTP etc) settings to allow my Hotmal email to be accessed on the SE P990i phone. The phone is supplied by and locked to Orange UK.
I have tried all the usual set up details but the dialog is still telling me there is an error on the server set up.
Thanks

The reason is that Hotmail doesn't provide POP3 (or IMAP).
Why use Hotmail when Gmail now is open for anyone? You should be able to forward your incoming Hotmails to Gmail.

You cannot setup Hotmail or Yahoo (I think Yahoo too) on your phone using POP or IMAP.

Hotmail doesn't provide it for free to free users.

It only provide it for Hotmail users who have paid for it, ie, Hotmail Plus or whatever...thats the main reason why Hotmail refuses to work with Outlook too.

Use Gmail...in my personal opinion, its better than Hotmail altogether, and in everything.

Cheers!
