I am looking to get a new printer but need one that also has a built in Fax,not many printers have a a fax built in these days as they have become kind of obsolete.

I know Lexmark have a couple of models but they are slightly on the large side and i need one thats as compact as possible..im not particular fan of lexmark either as ones i've bought in the past have caused problems.

so any advice or recommendations will be appreciated.

Hop u don mind HP MFDs...

There's:
HP Officejet 4355 All-in-One
HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One

The latter is a bit costly

I dunno about printers with built-in faxes... we've just ditched our fax machine at work as nobody has used it in years!

Do you really need a separate fax though? If your PC has a modem, you can probably fax straight from your computer bypassing the printer entirely... Or do you need the facility to fax/scan existing paper documents?

If we ever need to fax stuff now on our Macs, we just go to 'Print' and choose Fax from the printer menu... not sure if it works the same way on Windows...

Yes basically I really do need to fax/scan paper documents as a lot of it is existing paperwork.

And i often need to fax signed paperwork which saves time if i can just fax directly rather than scan it.

So a conventional fax is important for me.

Interesting, I wonder if my printer has faxing.

I've got an Epson RX620 all in one, it does plenty of things.

I do recommend Epson for printers. You can't go wrong with them.

I swear theres a way to turn any kind of all in one printer into a faxing machine through Windows. I'll ask a mate who would know when I see him online.
