Hi, I just got a new K750i, wasnt happy with the P990i as didnt need any of those features plus it was too bulky.

I have had a search through the forums and cant seem to find an answer to this question so hoping someone could help or lead me in the right direction. On the P990i I could install TomTom 6 + maps onto my 2Gb Memory Stick duo and use it as a full satnav system. Can you do this on the K750i with TomTom and have the maps installed on the MS Duo or is it not as simple as that?

Hope you can help as would love to use this phone as a satnav.

You can use Wayfinder or Nav4all for navigation.

edit: You'll have to connect to GPRS servers, you can't completely install any satnav software, this is only possible on phones with an OS, like Symbian or Windows.

Nav4All is done by connecting through to GPS though.. isnt it?

I would like one where I can have all the maps installed on My Memor Stick. Means I dont need to connect to anythign other than the bluetooth reciever.

Both Wayfinder and Nav4all use GPRS for the maps and GPS for location.

Satnav the way you want it, is a thing, your P990i (like any other smartphone) could do, but your K750i (and W810i, K800i etc.) can't.
