i dont mean the operator lock before anyone says that

i have a k608i, which works fine but i cannot seem to use any of my 3uk sims to start this phone up as the previous owner has set a phone lock code. is there any way to get round this?

if you have tried the default 0000 and had no success then you're going to need to go to a service centre to have it reset, or ask the guy you got it from

i wondered whether there would be an easy method to get the code.i have emailed the person anyway.

i will try the default code and let you know how it goes

one other alternative, which requires alot of patience, is to try all 9999 codes as there is no limit to how many times you try the phone lock code like there is for sim lock or puk codes

kulankendi has an option to "clear user code" if that would help but not sure if k608i is supported

or if u let it flash with the same or newr fw, the default code will be 0000 again
