The XBOX360 does support full HD 1080p but this is only availiable when you download a console update to upscale graphics. The PS3 may support more controllers but they don't support rumble(vibration) which makes them light and you don't really feel the game whereas the XBOX360 controllers do support rumble. Also there are more games availiable for the XBOX360 and Microsoft are planning to launch a TV service in the near future. The 360 is cheaper and availiable now.

Agree with you there! Funny how customers are expected to pay hundreds/thousands for a retail product that works imperfectly staright out of the box, and be happy with it! And we wonder why things like mobiles are starting to suffer this way.......

Sorry to be OT. Felt this needed to be said!

The TV service will be where you can download TV shows to your console or rent movies. This is all done through XBOX Live. When I say rent movies I mean you can download them to your HDD and keep them for (i think) 3 days before they are deleted automatically. You have to pay for it but it beats going to a DVD rental shop. Don't know if the service will be availiable in India though.

The word is UPSCALED no where near PS3 true HD.

Yes 360 may have more games due to its already 1yr old in the market, PS3 will to have more games and wat not.

Rumble will be available with 3rd party hardware, somewhere down the road SONY might surprised us with their own Rumble, its all marketing!

360 may be cheaper, but with the Monthly online subscriptions, Add-on HD-DVD, Wifi adaptor, 60GB HDD, etc... it adds up as with the PS3 60GB the all in one console with FREE online gaming!!

PS3 is flexible with any USB headset, keyboard and mouse OR wireless Bluetooth headset, keyboard and mouse!!

Workes perfectly as a media center to your PSP!!!

2nd OS Linux Yellow Dog as a full pledge PC!!!

Ummm... The X360 only upscales the games that don't already support 1080. Most new games do support it.
Xbox Live is £40 a year, although it can be bought for less in some places(online).
I Fantasy Worlds and Disney Girls.

Well the 360 works perfectly as a media center to your Windows PC and I really do think there are more Windows PC's than PSP. And before you say it, no you don't need a media center PC to work it with your PC. Just got to download Windows media connct for free. Oh and I might add we actually have our consoles. And as Burgaz said newer games are true HD 1080p, the upscaling is for older games.

Hey guys. this is a really interesting topic. i like the loyalty you guys have to your respective consoles. amazing !!! let me ask a few questions here.

1. Our local Cellular Network. ie Vodacom is offering an XBOX 360 with a crappy phone (which im not really bothered about) our local price is on the XBOX 360 is R2999 (*CORE UNIT*) which is roughly about $450 +-. the contract works me out about R135 p/m ($20). my question is, is it worth it or not.

2. I have played with both units. Very impressed with both. but leaning towards PS3 as i am an existing PS2 owner. but i am equally impressed with the 360. and the price on the PS3 with a 60gb Hd is R5000 ($715).

Finally.........

3. What the hell are you guys worried about porn for anyways? get a life!!!!

Did you know Microsoft looses £100 on every xbox 360 it sells. Buying a 360 cost the company money, does not make them money.

Although I'm sure they get a lot back through game sales.
