Yeah, so far neither my 2.4 GHz cordless or my Airport network seem to affect the BS, but it cannot seem to properly pass the signal through my body.. |

jh67,
I received a bluespoon (original) today, and am having identical problems to furnariidae (posted: 2002-11-13 11:20). I have a T68 (not T68i), and it is a UK model with original software. I tried furnariidae's suggestion of keeping the headset 3 meters away from the phone, but observed the same non-pairing behaviour. The bluespoon appears to think that it has been successful (with a single blue flash every 20 seconds), but the T68 says "pairing failed, try again?".
While the Nextlink website reports compatability with the T68, I wonder if there are any caveats? I will continue trying to get them paired, but I worry about how much testing has been done.
Regards,

jh.. i just received my BS (standard, but prefer calling it classic) today.. yahoo! enjoyed using it.
emayes.. i had that problem too, but after resetting it (by placing the bs in the cradle and plug/unplug it for couple of times) it paired and it's working fine.

anybody's 'spoon disconnecting when they press the up volume button during a call? seems like random behaviour and i'd like to know why. also, with a T68i, i figured out two things: my phone only rang if i activated voice answering, and my caller names only sounded if i activated voice answering. found out by chance. so if anyone has a T68i that is not ringing (from the handset) or anyone wanting to hear who is calling from their 'spoon, go to: settings>voice control>voice answer>on... |

Hello everyone!
I was at a shop today and tryed to sync my phone (t68) with a bluespoon 450 but it was not possible. My phone found the bluespoon but when someone called me i couldnt speak true the headset! Is this a general problem when you are trying to sync T68 and a bluespoon headset?
I will buy it tomorrow if i know it would work to sync it with a new headset and my phone! The headset was werry cool!
And a other qwestion if anyone can answer it: Is bluespoon 450 a good version? Or should i wait for another version?
Thanks! |

Because of the scarcity of the BS Panther, I'm just wondering if the BS Standard's shell is paintable.......with say......Testor's model spray paint.....would like to mask off the critical areas you don't want painted and use a Flat or Satin Black finish.
What do you guys think? |

I've just received my BS standard from Expansys here in the U.S. Paired no problem at all and it seems to work fine (I have R5A). Couple of things: 1) the range does seem to be short. If I walk more than a few feet from the phone, I get a lot of static and breaking up. When in range, the sound quality is excellent. 2) does the T68's BT setting have to be "on" for it to work? The manual says just pressing the button on the BS for 1 sec. will connect it to the phone. When the phone's BT setting is on "automatic" nothing happens. It seems one must keep BT "on" which of course, drains the battery down very quickly. Does anyone know anything about this? Would be preferable if it would work on automatic.
Other notes: I had recorded voice tags through my HBH-30 into the phone, they all are understood through the BS as well and I didn't have to rerecord any. Lastly, getting it in the ear is going to take some practice I can see already. |

The Automatic mode is for devices only. jh67 explained this in a earlier post http://www.esato.com/board/printpost.php?post=148031 |

laffen, thanks for the link to the earlier post. Funny thing though, I also purchased an HBH-30 (which I've now posted on ebay as I have the BS) and it didn't work in auto mode either - contrary to what Jan said in that post.... |

on my observation. when u turn ON the bt of the t68, u can use the voice dial, just press the 2 buttons and say the name after the beep.
when u place it to AUTOMATIC, the voice dial doesnt work; but when u dial, after pressing the keys, the t68 will automatically connect to the bs.
same as receiving a call. just press YES or the 2 buttons of BS |
