I have to say that one of my pet hates is grafiti vandalism, It ruins peoples environments and cost millions of pounds to clean away. It seems that the message it is dangerous to conduct this activity around railway lines has been ignored by many of these cretins, given the amount of trains on my line (The District) that have been ruined by grafiti vandals so you can imagine how upset I was to read that two cretins suspected of being involved in the vandalisation of trains at Barking depot in London had been killed whilst trying to avoid detection. I do so hope the message will now be heeded by others STOP IT WE DONT LIKE GRAFITI VANDALS

Its very unfortunate that they died and I am an admirer of some grafiti work but I think there is a place for it.
However, vandalising someone elses property is a big no no. Especially when it cost the railways millions of pounds a year to remove. All that extra cost had to recuperated from the fare prices and they are high enough as it is.

Quite true... but most seen on the side of the railway tracks is just stupid "tags" and no real effort put in them although i'd rather they didn't do it at all as they often dely my train home, little barsteads!

In my humble opinion gallerys are the best place for art, that way you can choose whether you view it or not. Some of the images created by these people are undoubtedly well made but I want to be able to choose wether I see them or not!
The vandals give us no choice, their attitude is far less democratic “I like it, so you will have to view it” is their attitude.
Pulp Fiction was a good film, however its images are hardly worth raising to the level of a daily public showing to local residents sorry but I do see it as poluting my environment.

I don't like garbage graffitis too, but graffitis have their own context.
If you put a paint with an image like the one in the first photo the context will be completely lost.

That is a fair point, it is a well made image and I agree that, the maker of that image and those of a similar ilk are to be commended and I conceed that in the right situation it would make a nice statement.
