Does anyone know for shure if t9 will come in p800 in a later version or not? This is quite a big deal for me!
I dont want to go back in time an use the old "tappe-ti-tapp" inputs!
If p800 never comes with t9 or something similar, I don't think this will be my next phone....
sorry to say that because fast SMS writing is a high priority in my opinion.
I have not tried handwriting input, but the viritual keyboard is really slow in use! |

I don't know what to believe anymore...
Some folks say it has t9 and some say no. But having read the latest
full review of it (mobile burn) it states: I can't use a fingertip, but a fingernail works fine. The virtual flip would work better if the buttons were larger. In general it works fine, but I wouldn't want to be entering a SMS message using triple tap this way: in phone mode (which only supports triple-tap for text input, no T9 or touch screen functionality).
To me it seems like a real bummer, now they have this really great t9 on T68, why couldn't they implement that on P800??? |

There has been no mentioning of t9 in any "official" manual, white paper or review.
So, to all you claiming it has t9, what do you base your statements on? Any links or proofs? I really need t9 in it |

DMX, I don't know what P800 you were using, but there was no T9 in the one I used.
It makes little sense to put it in. Sony Ericsson would have to pay Tegic the royalties to use it, and since there are better input methods in the device....

I hope mobile.burn just got an "pre-t9" version of p800. I mean if p800 doesen't have predictive text i'm beginning to be worried about |
