well i got an iPhone...i used to have a  W800...it wasn't easy...but the iPhone is great...you get over the problems of the iphone a few hours after you get it...'coz there's always something to do on it if you have wireless...

its realy BIG(whide, tall)...  but i ADORE the screen technolgy Apple use...top of the world ...no Turbo 3G....

I am very happy with my k790 but I luv to try the new iPhone. I will be really excited if SE has plans to compete with iPhone .

I think that although iphone is a very good phone, sony ericsson is even better. I have the z750i sony ericsson, and is a very good one. it has 512mb in a memory stick and other like 50 in the phone. it has also 3G and a camera of 2 megapixeles
so, i wouldn't change it if i could |

Pfft yeah right. Sony ericsson no matter how hard apple tries will have better phones. I mean i cant even locate through it. Im sorry but its utter garbage. Waste of my money really. I mean for 500 euros i can by a c905. Hmm hard choice or what!(last bit was sarcasm) |

For Web Browsing and Media(movies,music) there isn't a phone I can think of that comes close to the Iphone. Outside of those things it is garbage.

I agree wit the media comments but not with the web browser comments. Opera mini 4 kicks Safari's butt, Safari is fortunate to be linked to an unbeatable TS screen and interface. |

I left SE last year for the iphone... This is the longest I've kept a phone.
1 entire year.... I absoloutely love it and I'm still an SE fan.... However I'm not ready to come back to SE just yet.... I'm having too much fun.....
Browsing on the iphone is a delight... Plus I do love the itunes and its interface. I still have the W810, S700 and an old T610..... ; )

Agreed with Eddie, I don't have the iphone but I had the iPod touch and that thing was extremely nice to use for browsing. Safari was okay but the touch screen really made it work nice. |

As an alternative to the netPC's (like the Asus EeePC & HP Mininote etc), the 3G IPhone is a good (though pricey) choice with it's 3G/WiFI connectivity, great browser, Unix OS. As a phone, specially compared to the models coming out in Asia, it lags rather badly.
HSPA has become a stronger presence where I live and it will be a while before the IPhone has this. My T700 with a 3 Megapix cam (no autofocus,no zoom,no flash though it has a strong LED light) comes out with much better pics (also has HSPA btw).
And I don't have to deal with a soldered battery that only Apple can change or remove.
The (IPHone) software is definitely great , so is the multitouch touchscreen (which other cell phone are starting to have fyi) but when is the hardware going to catch up?
