as i was getting out of my car it fell out of my pocket (its a mobile phone pocket just above knee height). apparantely through vodafone it costs £40 to replace the screen, but i still got whacked £25 for insurance excess!!.
there was a massive crack from top to bottom, and a few smaller ones. all the black liquid started leaking out, and wasnt too bad. but now i cant read half the screen!

Picked my W950i up in the Philippines, the details for it are:
Phone: CXC 162037 R9C001
Bluetooth: CXC 162058 R3A01
Organiser: CXC 162088 R1B01
CDA: CDA 162014/2 R1B01
I would have expected my handset to pick up the update, but it doesn't. I tried it a s recently as last night, but no success. ANy ideas?

hi there. in this new firmware there is finaly a option to manually define the equalizer? And about animated wallpapers? Any changes in that department? |

No changes in Equalizer... still being preset by a set of selections.
I'm not sure on what do you mean by animated wallpaper.. if you want a GIF to be set as wallpaper.. is already there since day 1.
Btw, this is my phone software information:
I believe this firmware is still not ie Se Update Services yet coz I tried just now. Check with your nearest SE Authorized Dealer. I updated mine from there. |

I said that because i´ve seen people here posting that they cant put animated wallpapers on w950/m600 (I´m not talking about screensavers). And on my p990 i can set a gif as wallpaper ofcourse but no animated wallpaper cause the gif doesnt move! lolol (only works as a screensaver) |

That´s not a good move by SE. On almost all the other non smart phone models you can put animated wallpapers and set the equalizer. Why not on these expensive phones?! |

Ahhh... if it's not on SEUS, that's why I haven't been able to update. I'll just hang on until it appears then. Thanks Alex.

hmm i can't get SEUS to work properly...
it doesn't load any other page & jumps back to main menu after the detection... |

Have you installed the USB drivers first?
Are you pressing 'c' on the phone when you attach the cable?
