I use BB instantemail on my P990i. Without a working client, I may just hold off updating then.

Any noticeable improvements? Is it too early to expect a changelog?

I actually got the bb client installed now. It seemes it didnt want to install through the application installer. What I did was bluetooth the file over and then started the installation. That seemed to work, but the inbox doesnt show up in the messages menu so something is definately wrong. My calender isn't synced and I dont get that message saying that blackberry is now using the calendar feture.

This is great news (if it fixed the memory leakage) however i'm not upgrading until i know the following apps still work

TomTom
Blackberry
Opera Mini
SMS Spam Manager
Skybymobile
Gmail
Worldmate

I'm not brave enough to upgrade without knowing if these apps work

@HarvJH

Have you got a branded or unbranded handset. My understanding is that SEUS will look at the CDA version of your handset and decide whether or not the new firmware will apply to your handset.

@Zulan

So is your email coming through, now that you have managed to install the client?

Without reading back through the thread (short though it is!), did you backup your apps, messages, etc and then apply the backup to your fone after updating? Or are you starting with a 'fresh' P990i after updating?

One of the most irritating bugs remains. You cannot watch streaming video through wlan. =(

Hi all, glad to see the new year is getting off to a good start.

I have an O2 "branded" handset and am from the UK. The system info for my handset is as follows;

Phone:
CXC162037 R7A001

Bluetooth:
CXC162058 R4F01

Organizer:
CXC162036 R3B01

CDA:
CDA 162008/6 R3A03

I thought the detail above is the same as the generic ones, if not, please advise the difference. SEUS is saying I have the latest and no need to update. Please advise which networks you obtained your handsets from or if you have a generic handset.

Thanks
