good! I was getting worried for no reason. Another question, if E60, E70s use 16 million colour displays, does that make their screens plasma or high definition display units?

Good question. Imo no other brand managed so bright and sharp display yet. Does it drain faster the batt?

Actually, the battery goes for 4 days of light usage and 2 for intensive use. Even when the screen is at its dimmest setting, it still defeats All the makes! And the picture rendering is too perfect which lives me wonderin, is it plasma or h.d lcd?

i guess nokia really wanted to make a 'budget priced business phone'. Would have been much more succesful with a 16m colour display; it would have made working with the camera more pleasing. Did you ever get the feeling that they used the same camera with 3230? I sure did!

sorry! I meant E50! Do u know, i wanted that phone then it was a tad over me budget. S'not bad, though it looks alot like a rim blackberry! Even the height and thickness is similar, which left me wondering.... Its only the software thats different. Vrai ou faux?

True, but i dont understand why. If an E60s resolution is higher, why is it so easy 2 read text on it? There's no font size option that changes the size. Or is there?

@bickit; couldn't you bookmark the last page that you read in the Nokia browser for the new S60 thread like everyone else. Then goto the most recent page for updates? Unless you have the E50 - no WiFi or Access Points to connect to - or - Specific mention of apps, firmware, tweaks, etc that are akin to specifically the E-Series devices then I see no point to this thread. Of course others do so I guess it serves its purpose, however eventually it'll get long as well so data charges will climb along with it.

Depending on what you have setup to startup when you boot your S60 device (3Rd Ed); then bootup times can get as low as 40seconds or less. I'm seeing some tweaked Smartphones (WM5 version) getting about 26seconds without major registry hacks just disabling startup animations for some units. I'd like to pose a question if this can be done on any E-series device?

Currently the most stable S60 3Rd Edition device is STILL the E-61/62!
