Hi thanks for reading this and sorry if its boring. I found my old T29 and put my sim in but it says phone locked and asks for unlock code. I have no idea what the code is and was wondering if there was anyway around it? |

i do not know how to get rid of forgotten lock codes, but i just want to note here that updating via SEUS, or reflashing the main + FS via davinciteam does not clear out the lock codes

if u have the chance, flash it with the latest fw, then all locks will disappear from t29. only operators has got the codes

Have you tried the default codes, like 0000 or 12345?

Look for the phone! It's an Ericsson T29s and SEUS doesn't support it. Not sure if davinci can handle these old phones!

Sorry, that's the wrong way, because phonecode isn't stored in the firmware. It's in the EEPROM.

The phonelock can be 4 to 8 digits.

If it's just the üphonelock, the regular code is 0000 on Ericsson phones. If you have changed it before, you can try out as often as you want to get it.
If it is the SIMlock code you can get the code from the operator, where you bought the T29s. Or check for example http://varanius.narod.ru/ buy an flashcable for your phone for little money and make it on your own!
