I am also having problems with M3 
I had been using it with no problems but now i get a windows error message & when you press 'ok' the programme shuts down.
Are there any updates or suggestions as the quality of this software was
the dogs danglies.
Same here, it worked fine but just recently started crashing. Reinstallation doesn't help

I think it is a problem with .NET framework. We need to get an updated dotnetfx.exe (that is compatible with the latest .NET for Windows XP) and install that.
I haven't completed the process but if you just hide the error window somewhere without clicking anything on it, the program seems to work.
The main problem is related to some update Microsoft did to .NET v.2. There is a workaround but I'll have to take a look at it some other time.

Regarding the crashing, if you just move the error window out of the way I have found M3 often keeps working just fine in the background.
I've seen other posts describing this too.
I wish Mysh was around to help out with it though. |

Im still having no luck with M3 so i searched for another &
found this one.
The vid quality & frame rate etc is superb & seems everything
that M3 was before the problems started.
If anybody wants it hosted elsewhere please let me know.

It looks to me like that isn't free, and doesn't do dvd conversions without extra mucking around. Can't someone get the M3 code to get it running again? It seems to be perfect! |

as wardh said above, in your firewall program control settings, you need to block M3's access to the internet. i was having the same problem with M3 crashing instantly after launching it. once i deprived it of net access, normal service was resumed.
i suppose it was phoning home but didn't get the reply it wanted...  |

I am finding that everytime I open M3 now it wants to install apple Quicktime - and it's already there!!!

Ive blocked the website as instructed but i still get the same
error message shortly after opening the application.
