Dont give up..
There are some (risky) solutions like shorting the + and - connectors of the phone (not the battery) charge after 24 hrs and try EROM update..
Other soultions require opening cover (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=355433)

I think one option that you really want/should try is fully charge your batt on other (WORKING) phone. There is a chance that your phone will not charge your batt in its current condition and hence the phone can't get recognised.
Also it will help your phone to completely reset itself while you taking the batt out for longer time.

guys i haved a doubt can i use this erom update to newly bought fresh piece??? so that this problem wont occur when i use.. actually this is my friends phone newly bought ...
so just want to verify whether it is really neccesary to update erom or just wait until it dies out ???

Well, I updated my K800 in January, straight away after finding out about red blinking problem. Never had any problem ever since.
IMHO, it is worth it because when the phone dies you may not afford to be without the phone (on vacation that has no authorised service centre/no internet access, or on important work). But it is entirely up to your friend to decide. |

No credits needed, no waisting time, you need only download the KK client, follow the given instructions, and 4 secs, then your telephone will revive.

Ok then after that, what happens?i got a similar log above, and I think my EROM was updated but unfortunately, my K800 is still not working..
I have a feeling it has become more of a brick than it was while the red IR light was still blinking.
And does the kulan account still works?because I think the KK client just killed my k800..
Can somebody help me out here?

Ok..there is another problem here, the nearest SE shop here is 8-12 hours travel with boat. Im from the Philippines and the nearest SE shop to where i am located is Cebu (i think).. :weep:

just go to the nearest SE dealer in your area (in shopping malls) and let them bring your said unit to their repair shop which is in binondo manila.. but it would take quite some time.. i guess more than a week or couple of a weeks.. |

Yeah, I guess that would be the best move I could make as of now, rather than experiment on my phone and render it totally useless. (useless as it is now) 
By the way thanks for the reply fallen_angel, i guess your from the Philippines..I will go check Cagayan de Oro for SE dealers..
However, if help is will coming before the end of the week, that would be great. |
