what is it between w800i and w810i? i bought a w800i last december 2005,i like S.E. being user friendly,(the newer models),hmmm straight to the point...w800i has 2 megapixel camera and java games just like w810i,but what i want to know is...why is it that when i take a picture from the w810i(with the flash mode on) compared to the w800i,the colour
of the picture is more hiss reducted,the colour is more contrasted,than w800i,and it is more clearer,w800i is "so bright" when it comes to taking a picture when it is night...i browsed a couple of pictures in the gallery index,and i seldom see night pictures from the S.E. phones,yes,i do see night modes,but they are close-ups,can somebody answer my post?

They have the same camera. I guess the difference you notice is due to the fact that W810 has a better screen than W800.

Yep. The screen is what's different and that's it.

hey guys what do you mean about screen in those two walkmans? is w810 better than w800 just because of screen size??? my K800i goes back to O2 shop for the rest of its life just because of battery lifetime and bulky phone size...would be big difference betwen k800i and w810 screens?
....T610->K700->K750i->K800i->K750i->K750i+K800i(because of price and SIM-FREE)

@HacQ- k800 is miles ahead of the w810i in the screen department. W800 was the first walkman phone and the w810i is a tweaked version of the w800i. The tweaks are rather cosmetic really, the engine is still the same. The major difference is the better screen on the w810i, it's not bigger but better in terms of colour and saturation.

Just keep your K750I & stick the W800I software on.

I wouldnt worry about the W810I, You have a perfectly good K750I so you might as well get your moneys worth out of it.

In an attempt to illustrate the difference between the W800i and W810i screens:

If you haven't already guessed I've got one of both at the moment, although can't do any camera comparisons due to the fact the W800i's camera ribbon's currently snafu'd up! Should have a replacement arriving hopefuly Monday, or Tuesday at latest. It's the same camera unit though so cant' see there being a difference, I couldn't make any out between the K750i and W800i.

It's only a small thing but I do miss having a camera shutter, does currently have some wear and couple of tiny scratches to the lens coating, and I find it more convenient to have the camera start up when I open the shutter rather than pressing and holding the camera button!

I am rather tempted to keep the W800i presuming I can fix the camera, not entirely sure yet which I'd prefer!

yeah ill stay with my k750 and ill put w800 brains into it would prefer w810 just because nav joystick is replaced to nice round buton and one option key inside,thats looks not even nicer but more useful than nav joystick just because w810 wouldnot get so meny dusts in to keyboard from this kind of buttons but no lens cover is the only one thing why i will go on k750

Sammy_boy summed it up nicely there for you HacQ. I also think that SE wanted to cater for those who didn't like the w800i's garish colour with the release of the w810i.
