True...sorry mate that is true..but admitedly, i think the o2 link button is incredibly useful so i liek it to be there...

When you are in town and you need to find out the football results or latest scored quickly, 2 clicks and your there with the o2 button

p.s...Can we have a Silver K800 AVATAR PLEASE! =P hehe

Thanx for the comment about the pictures!!

Anymore Questions?

Is that the only bit of o2 branding? If it is I don't mind. Have you tried checking for firmware updates yet? I'm assuming it'll just use the regular k800i updates, so I'm guessing it'll be possible to debrand the phone, but would you lose all the bond exclusive stuff?

You know what? I just got one!! I decided to pop into town and there it was in the O2 shop, so i thought "what the hell" and bought it there and then. Had to opt for a contract mind....but its only a 12monther so thats alright. I'm charging it up at the moment (o2 guy said charge for 8-10 hours), so I'll let you guys know how things are tomorrow!

edit: oh yeah, they also gave me 3 Bond DVDs (Man with the Golden Gun, Goldeneye, Goldfinger)

This might be a stupid question, but how do you get the battery cover off? I'm trying to change sim cards and I can't get the cover off.........

I'm on O2 400/100 for £35 for 12 months. However, I plan on changing that to the £20 tariff after 6 months. I know its not the best deal in the world, but I like to think that I got a phone with a high resale value, so that makes up for it

edit: nevermind.....i finally managed to force it open, hope i don't ever have to do that again!!

HAHAH DID YOU HAVE THAT PROBLEM TOO!

I swear i sat at my desk for a good 5-10 minits trying different techniques to slide that bitch off...its almost impossible to get it off isn't it!!

Anyways...had to do it again once i'd swapped contacts as i needed to put my new sim card in LOL...stupid me

it is a nightmare getting that cover off though...its a tight fit!

Haha, yeah. The instruction manual says slide, but theres nothing to grip onto to actually slide the thing! In the end I just kept rubbing the cover as this seemed to be working, albeit VERY slowly.

my best technique was using like 3 main fingaz
pulling it downwards rather thn pushing it down..like stroking over the surface with a bit of pressure from the bottom of the fone.

Worked in the end
was sooooo frustrating though...started swearing my head off at it lolol

Hi all, just to let you know you can also get the BOND silver version through o2 stores! You even get the DVD's like online
[Man With The Golden Gun, Gold Finger, and errrrr...... of course Golden Eye!]

Its not on pay and go in silver ;( [well not with o2 anyway]

Hope this helps?

Prefer the w850i, for the music!
