He proberbly works for or has connections with the games industry,they are usually the sorts of people who get early pre-release units to test and evaluate.

Well actually he bought it brand new from a mate in California for £215 but got £55 import tax also he paid £100 to get it chipped.
He also knows a guy who sells chipped PS3 game so he's sorted.

Well when we were walking back with the dog i was asking how the graphics were and he said truely amazing so i want to try. Its still great to own 1 before release even though they will be out in Japan next month.
