Which new phone? |

Its come round to that time of year again where i'll be able to get an upgrade for my old mobile. I started this years contract with O2 with a W800i but that failed so i was sent, 3 months ago, a w810i to replace it. I've also just been given a P910, which is a great thing but lacks the features of the w810. So as i'm due an upgrade i was wondering if anyone has any advice as to which phone to get or how long to wait for the next sony phone? Preferably with the next generation walkman software....
P.S. i've looked at the K800 but dont like it very much. . . i dont need that 'good' a camara in my phone...and the silly memory sticks are well, silly.

i assume you might get yourself a W850/W830 or W950 to suit your needs  since you don't really bother about camera

If you're into smartphones then W950 is an excellent phone.
If you're into flashy looking phones, then W850 is the way to go. |

SE has good phones and smartphones too, so it depends on your need which phone to buy. So if you like your phone mainly for music you should go for the W850 (if your operator supports 3G) or the W830 (if it doesn't). But you have also good alternative with the smartphones. There are very useful and great SE smartphones which have GREAT and very WIDE palette of options. So, if you are smartphone fan you can get yourself a new W950, M600 or if you like taking photos and recording good videos too you should buy the P990. I think P990 is the "best buy" from the SE smartphones.

Cool. Thanks. Its a pitty that the W950 doesn't have a camara as i've found it occasionaly usefull, more for the light thatn anything else. |

And is there enough of a difference between the w810 and 850 to warrent the change or the £100 you'll get for not changing your handset?

If you don't need the 3g video call camera and you are between W950 and W810 I think you should keep your phone, and with your money go and buy a HUGE CAPACITY memory card for your old phone. It would be great step for you. In my opinion I do not see very big diference. The W810 still is great phone. |

i dont know why people keep asking what phone to get...because getting a mobile for the sake of calling is enough...i mean you all ask your self after you get the phone how often will you use your phone but calls??? everyone has different style and taste! so get a mobile that suits your need!
so your post should be which is better compare to this...and not what to get....==" so i think its a stupid question, i personally love the W900i but many people also dont coz of the size and moany others do coz of music performace and video quality
-Get K for camera
-Get W For Music
-Get P for PDA

no point of everyone telling you the phone is good if you, your self dont like it, understand bro? choose one that suit ur stlye size, feature etc. but mobile is only good for one thing to call  and to show off

I dont agree with you because maybe some owners of the phones you like can help you decide by telling bugs, pros and cons of the phone
...w850 is great but the cam is not very good (w800 cam is by far better)...bu if you dont care about the cam..go for w850 |

lol if u like it nothing will stop u from getting it...first i knew that W550i had bugs like white screen etc... buit i like it so what i got it didnt care what bug and if camera is shit i just like it so i bought it

Well the W850 is a great phone. The screen is identical to the K800's, it's 3G, looks really nice, and the new  player is sweet
