Get one, it'll give you peace of mind if nothing else. They don't cost too much and they help with the re-sale value as well. If you get a decent Martin Fields or Brando one you'll never know it's on anyway.

Wish I had now. I have never had a screen protector but now I have my first ever scratched screen (on a phone bought new) on my K800i.

I've never used one, now I've noticed a tiny almost invisible streak, it's ok but if I had bought one, this wouldn't have happened. buy one...

Never did I USE a screen-protector on my ordinary fones . . . I only manage to buy one if I am currently been USING a touch-screen PDA fone . . .

@bagli - Better use a leather case instead of putting a screen-protector on your K790 dude. Just make sure that you WIPE the screen with a clean-cloth (like Hanes/Fruit of the Loom shirts). . . . every USE [addsig]

depends on how you place your phone .. if you used to put inside your pocket.. i highly suggest you to get a screen protector. well if you place it in a pouch .. that could avoid (not completely!) a scratch somehow..
